The first visit

What does a careful first review cover?

The goal is not a fast yes. It is a plan that makes sense for one person.

What can you bring?

  • Your current list.Medicines, supplements and any allergies or past reactions.
  • Your health history.Past conditions, surgery plans and the care you receive elsewhere.
  • Your goal. What you hope will change, and what would make the plan feel worthwhile.
  • Your questions.Use the saved checklist or a note on paper.

What can be clear before the visit ends?

The exact product, the reason for it, what happens next, who handles new problems, what the full cost includes and when the plan will be reviewed.

If the clinician wants a blood test or an in-person exam, ask whether it must happen before you start the medicine, and who will arrange it.
