After the first visit

Who stays responsible after the prescription?

Someone should stay in charge of your care after you pay and get the prescription. Get the name of that person and how to reach them before you need help.

What can be settled at the start?

  • Who reviews progress?Get the role and the normal way to reach that person.
  • Which problems need a fast answer?Ask which new problems can wait for a message, which need a phone call, and which need urgent care near you.
  • How are other clinicians kept informed?Ask how records can reach primary care or a specialist.
  • What happens if the product changes?Ask who explains a new maker, pharmacy, form or coverage rule.

What if you need to stop?

Ask what happens if the medicine does not fit, costs too much, cannot be found or no longer matches your goal.

A clear answer covers the care plan as well as billing. It also tells you how to get a copy of your record.
